Every process we use, every decision we make, and every ingredient we choose has Mama Earth in mind. Sustainability isn’t a trend for us—it’s woven into the way we live, create, and run our homestead. We use directly compostable packaging and labels made with compostable, water-soluble adhesives. We save, collect, and reuse shipping materials. We compost our herbal waste and continually look for ways to return what we take back to the earth. To reduce our environmental footprint, we carefully plan ingredient sourcing and limit cross-country and international shipments whenever possible, often bringing in specialty ingredients only once or twice a year. We prioritize local, homegrown, and responsibly sourced materials and rarely use anything outside of our bioregion. Everything we can rescue, reuse, or repurpose, we do. Our sewn goods are created from vintage and salvaged materials—giving new life to textiles that may have otherwise ended up in a landfill. We avoid unnecessary plastics, vinyls, and wasteful materials in our signage, displays, and everyday business practices.All plants are beyond organically grown on our permaculture homestead or sustainably wild foraged (we have a 10% rule.
